1. The UML Jokes contest will last from October 2, 2007 till February 2, 2008. Winners will be announced within a week after completing the contest.
2. Any person may take part in the contest without any limitations.
3. One person can send an unlimited number of jokes to the contest.
4. By submitting your UML diagram to this contest, you grant to INTSPEI an irrevocable, perpetual and royalty-free right to use, edit, display, modify, publish and otherwise make use of the submitted jokes in any and all media throughout the world and for any purpose.
5. The winners are chosen by voting of site users. The three best jokes with the maximum average rating, win the first, second and third prizes accordingly.
6. Winners should have not less than 50 votes. If two or more jokes have the same average rating: the joke wins if it has more votes.
7. Each person can vote only once for each favorite joke.
8. There may also be special prizes from the contest sponsors; the criteria for awarding these special prizes is determined by each sponsor.
9. The person who submits the most jokes and the person who receives the most votes will be rewarded with special prizes.
10. Jokes with offensive, discriminative content are not allowed. INTSPEI retains the right to remove any joke if it is deemed to have inappropriate content, or its author exhibits unethical behavior.
11. Winners will be announced at UML Jokes site on the last day of the contest. Also all the winners will be contacted by e-mail indicated during registration process. A participant should indicate his/her real name when registering.
12. INTSPEI commits not to sell, disclose, or rent your private information (e-mail, names) to any third party companies. INTSPEI protects your information from unauthorized access or disclosure, and ensures proper use of information you provide.
13. INTSPEI is responsible for delivery of the prizes to winners. INTSPEI has the right to substitute prizes with ones of equal value if, due to logistical or other reasons, any prizes cannot be sent to winners.
14. If a winner does not reply to an INTSPEI notification e-mail in 45 days after the announcement of winners is made, then he/she automatically looses his/her right to receive the prize.
15. All winners are responsible for all taxes and/or fees, and all additional costs that may be incurred as a result of receiving their prize.
16. INTSPEI employees and their family members are not allowed to take part in this contest.

1. You can use only UML and English texts and descriptors in your joke submissions.
2. Jokes are accepted only in gif, jpeg, png and bmp graphical formats.
3. The size of all pictures submitted should not exceed 1 Mb, 800x600 pixels.
